IR Analysis 2013: Global Political Ecology [Immersion_MH/RNA]
The course highlights the very strong, yet intricate connections between environmental change and global political economy. Dated back to United Nations Conference on Human Environment (UNCHE) in Stockholm 1972, environmental issues have been indispensable parts of global production, investment, trade and financial activities at different levels of interactions. The impacts of those activities on the natural environment, however, were given least attention in the conventional international political economy studies.
